Dahlia & Zinnia Bouquets at Lafayette Restaurant & Hopewell Market

Dahlias will keep blooming until the first frost, however, my zinnias don’t particularly like the cold nights. They are producing less and less. Here are the bouquets I made this weekend.

Focals

• dahlias - mostly Caitlyn’s Joy, Cornel bronze, Maarn, Cornel, Spooktacular, and a couple Rip City (pic below of the dahlias I harvested to make these bouquets)

• zinnias - Zowie which is the orange and red one and also assorted colors from the Benary’s Giant and Queen Lime series (pic below of the zinnias I harvested to make these bouquets)

• sunflowers - Procut Horizon and Plum

Fillers

• celosia - Celway terracotta, purple, and pink

• snapdragons - assorted colors

• jewels of Opar

• a couple stems of strawflower

Foliage

• mahogany splendor hibiscus

• sedum - Autumn Joy
