I’m so glad my zinnias and mums are still pumping out blooms because I am loving these fall colors. I’m normally a pink/purple lover, but the new mums I planted this spring are making me fall in love with the maroon/wine/orange tones. I have 2 maroon colored mums blooming and they are stunning. They are both new to me this year. I planted them next to each other and I wished I hadn’t because I’m having a hard time telling them apart. I ordered them from Clara Joyce Flowers. One is Ft Vancouver and the other is Crimson Tide. Either way, I love them both. The stems are long and strong and there are multiple blooms on each stem. When one starts to look tired, cut that one off and leave the rest.
