Red, White & Blue Fireworks Bouquets - Hopewell Market

July 3, 2026

I make these every year for July 4th and they always sell out. The dried allium heads look like a firework, and the red, white and blue flowers are perfect for Independence Day, especially this year being the 250th anniversary.

Focals

Dark blue canterbury bells and 2 colors of sweet William (Barcelona red and red with white).

Fillers

Snapdragons, daisies, bachelor buttons, feverfew, bee balm, and blue and white pincushion flowers, and of course the dried allium for the firework.

Foliage

Boxwood and anise hyssop.

Flowers by color:

The red flowers are bee balm (panorama red), snapdragons, yarrow, and sweet William (red & white with red).

The white flowers are 2 different kinds of feverfew (magic single and tetra white), pincushion flower, a couple of daisies, and a couple white sweet William.

The blue flowers are bachelor buttons, sea holly, pincushion flower and canterbury bells. I also harvested some forget-me-not but they wilted and I couldn’t use them.

The fireworks are dried allium heads.
