June 12, 2026 - Beautiful peony bouquets at Hopewell Market
My saponaria is blooming and it gives such an airy, magical look to these bouquets.
The focal flowers are my beautiful peonies.
The filler flowers are ranunculus, yellow yarrow, bachelor buttons, and orlaya. You can hardly see the ranunculus in these bouquets because I harvest them at the ‘color crack’ stage. That’s when they’re still in bud form, but they’re just starting to crack open and you can see what color they’ll be. Once they open, they’re hard to miss with their fluffy blooms and multiple rows of flower petals. A very beautiful, unique flower with a very long vase life, sometimes up to 2 weeks or more. LOVE THAT!
The foliage is boxwood.
