Mum Bouquets at Lafayette Restaurant

My mums are starting to bloom!! These are not the garden mum variety that all the stores sell this time of year. These are heirloom chrysanthemums with long branching stems, beautiful colors, and a very long vase life. The first to bloom are always the variety called Jessica Louise followed by French Vanilla. I used some of both in these bouquets. Jessica Louise is pictured below, but the picture makes them look more orangie/cantaloupe, but really they’re a blush pink color. In these bouquets I mix them with zinnias and dahlias, along with other fillers.
